Journey of Elida with craftwork began in childhood, as she observed her mother and grandmother engage in handcrafts during their leisure time. Elida hails from a region where the dowry still retains its traditional significance, and local handiwork is closely tied to the marriage ritual. Girls and young women had to master the art of sewing and weaving early on, to be able to create their own dowries. Therefore, embroidery was considered a rite that brought together the girls and women of the family.
Elida further immersed herself into this craft by embroidering a personalized certificate as a gift for her son. Subsequently, she had the idea to establish a business focusing solely on crafting and marketing such handiworks. With eight years of active entrepreneurship, she strives to set an example and involve young individuals who wish to dedicate themselves to this craft.
